Within the framework of the Presidential Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PD-204 dated 3 November 2025 "On approving the 'Digital Prosecution – 2030' Strategy and measures for its effective implementation," and in connection with the introduction of the "Cyber Law" bachelor's degree programme at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, there is a need to engage, on a temporary basis, a specialist in the field of information technologies and software engineering.
If the documents submitted by the specialist are approved and the applicant successfully passes the competition, a bilateral civil law contract shall be concluded between the Academy and the specialist.
Responsibilities of the specialist:
To organize the technical and software resources required for the introduction and implementation of technical modules such as "Fundamentals of Cybersecurity" and "Fundamentals of Information Technologies" in the educational process, to establish and provide technical support for the information technology infrastructure required for practical training sessions, as well as to provide technical and expert support to the faculty members responsible for these modules.
Requirements for the candidate:
– possession of a relevant qualification document (an appropriate certificate) in the field of cybercrime, information security or digital law;
– at least two years of work experience in software development or the field of information technologies;
– good command of Uzbek, English and Russian.
Duration of work:
The duration of the work is 2 (two) months (if necessary, the term of the contract may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties through an additional agreement).
Remuneration:
The amount of remuneration for the work performed shall be determined by mutual agreement of the parties and shall be paid to the applicant based on the results of the completed work.
Requirements:
Initiative, ability to work effectively as part of a team, and timely fulfilment of assigned tasks.
Working hours:
40 hours per week.
The applicant shall personally apply to the Human Resources Department of the Academy with a passport or ID card and submit the relevant documents (identity document, curriculum vitae, higher education diploma and its transcript, a copy of the employment record book, and a taxpayer identification number (TIN) certificate). After the submitted documents have been reviewed, the applicant shall be interviewed by the Selection Committee.
