Call for applications for the academic mobility programme at the University of Gdańsk

Within the framework of cooperation between the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the University of Gdańsk of the Republic of Poland, applications are announced for the academic mobility programme for the Academy’s second- and third-year students. Final-year students are not eligible to participate in the selection.

The programme is designed for one semester and provides an opportunity to study at the partner university during the fall semester of the 2026/2027 academic year on either a grant-funded or tuition-fee-paying basis.

To participate in the selection, applicants must:

– have a minimum average academic performance (GPA) of 80 percent;

– have an English language proficiency level confirmed by an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher.

Students wishing to participate in the programme must submit the following documents to the Office of the Registrar by 31 July 2026:

– a motivation letter in English of up to 500 words, independently prepared without the use of artificial intelligence tools, describing the applicant’s purpose and plans for participating in the exchange programme;

– a copy of the academic transcript;

– a copy of the personal information page of the international passport;

– an IELTS certificate confirming English language proficiency;

– certificates and other documents confirming social and extracurricular activities, if available.

Certificates issued for participation in online events and letters of recommendation will not be accepted.

Based on the results of the selection process and interview, exceptionally talented students may be granted the opportunity to study at the University of Gdańsk without paying tuition fees.

Applicants participating in the programme on a tuition-fee-paying basis shall pay a tuition fee of EUR 1,800 to the University of Gdańsk.

All other expenses related to studying at the University of Gdańsk, including transportation, visa, insurance, accommodation and living expenses, shall be covered by the student.

Students studying at the Academy on a tuition-fee-paying basis shall continue to pay their tuition fees to the Academy in accordance with the agreement concluded with the Academy.
