An important milestone has taken place in the lives of the first graduates of the “Investigative Activities” bachelor's program of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The young specialists commencing their service in the internal affairs bodies were awarded their first special rank of “Lieutenant” and took the Oath of Service of an employee of the internal affairs bodies.
The solemn ceremony was attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Deputy Prosecutor General, as well as leaders and staff of law enforcement agencies, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Law Enforcement Academy, and the graduates’ parents.
The speakers congratulated the young officers on reaching this important and responsible stage of their professional careers, emphasizing that the first special rank and the Oath of Service represent a high level of trust placed in them by the State and the people.
The graduates were called upon to strictly observe the law, uphold human dignity, reliably protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, and serve with honesty, fortitude, and a strong sense of responsibility under all circumstances. It was noted that legality, justice, and the interests of the people must prevail in every decision and action taken by the young officers.
During the most solemn and emotional moment of the ceremony, the graduates were awarded their first special rank of “Lieutenant.” Along with marking the beginning of their professional path as officers, this rank also places upon them the responsibility to strictly observe service discipline and to bear personal responsibility for every decision they make and every action they take.
Following this, the young officers took the Oath of Service of an employee of the internal affairs bodies, pledging to faithfully serve the Motherland and the people, strictly observe the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, protect the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of citizens, and perform their official duties honestly and conscientiously.
The awarding of the first special rank signifies the graduates’ entry into the ranks of officers, while taking the Oath of Service reflects their acceptance of a profound responsibility before the Motherland, the people, and the law.
