Competition for the Position of Librarian at the Information Resource Center

The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan invites qualified, responsible, and proactive specialists to participate in the competition for the position of Category I Librarian at the Information Resource Center.

Main Responsibilities

Formation, maintenance, systematization, and preservation of the library collection.

Working with printed publications, electronic information resources, and databases.

Providing information and library services to professors, instructors, trainees, and students.

Maintaining and regularly updating the electronic catalog and databases.

Participating in the organization of spiritual and educational, scientific, and reading-related events.

Performing other duties assigned to the position in accordance with internal departmental documents.

Candidate Requirements

Higher education in the relevant field and possession of a diploma, certificate, or other documents confirming qualifications.

Proficiency in using computer equipment, electronic information resources, and library information systems.

Good command of Uzbek and Russian languages. Knowledge of English will be considered an additional advantage.

Responsible, proactive, communicative, and able to work effectively in a team.

Ability to think technically and analytically, quickly master new technologies, and perform assigned tasks efficiently and within the established deadlines.

Employment shall be carried out on the basis of the competition results in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation.

Working Schedule

Five-day working week, 40 hours per week.

Passport of a citizen or ID card.

Personal information form (objective reference).

Higher education diploma.

Employment record book or an extract from the electronic employment record book.

Information on the Personal Identification Number of an Individual (PINFL).

Available qualification certificates.

Information on completed projects and professional activities.

Applicants shall personally submit the documents to the Human Resources Department of the Academy together with an identity document.

After the submitted documents have been reviewed, suitable candidates will be invited for an interview with the commission. During the interview, the candidate’s professional knowledge, practical skills, and compliance with the position requirements will be assessed.
