At the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Master of Laws diplomas and Academic Breast Badges were solemnly presented to graduates who successfully completed their master’s studies in the 2025/2026 academic year. The ceremony marked the next result of the systematic work carried out by the Academy to train personnel with profound theoretical knowledge, practical and analytical competencies for priority areas of law enforcement.
The graduates completed their studies in the master’s specializations “Prosecutorial Activity”, “Investigative Activity”, “Combating Corruption”, “International Human Rights Law” and “Legal Support for Cybersecurity”. This year, diplomas were also presented to the first graduates of the “Legal Support for Cybersecurity” specialization, introduced at the Academy from the 2025/2026 academic year. This first graduation represented an important step towards training qualified personnel in the fields of legal regulation of the digital environment, strengthening the legal foundations of information security, and combating cyber threats.
The event was attended by the leadership of the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Academy, professors and teaching staff, representatives of authorized state bodies, graduates and their parents, as well as representatives of the mass media.
Education in the Academy’s master’s programme is organized in accordance with modern requirements and is aimed at combining theoretical training with law enforcement practice and scientific research. The educational process contributes to the development of master’s students’ competencies in conducting in-depth analysis of legal processes, developing scientifically grounded conclusions, and finding effective solutions to complex professional tasks, as well as their research potential. The broad involvement of national and foreign experts in the educational process further enhances the practical content and academic level of the training.
International cooperation within the master’s programme is also consistently expanding. Master’s students actively participate in international educational programmes organized in cooperation with the University of Gdańsk in Poland, the Korea International Cooperation Agency, and the Korea Institute of Justice, gaining the opportunity to acquire foreign experience and modern approaches.
The growing interest in studying in the Academy’s master’s programme year by year was also noted. In particular, in the admission process for the 2026/2027 academic year, the number of applicants increased significantly compared to the previous year’s figure.
The Academy’s leadership congratulated the graduates on successfully completing the master’s programme and wished them success in their future professional and academic activities. It was emphasized that effectively applying the knowledge and competencies acquired by the graduates to ensure the rule of law, protect human rights, as well as further develop the law enforcement system of our country in the context of digitalization and new legal challenges is an important task facing the graduates.
