On September 11, an event dedicated to the use of English in the legal field was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the participation of professors and teachers, students and specialists in the field interested in learning English, particularly Legal English.
The open master class was organised at the Academy in an offline format as well as online via the Zoom platform. Along with Academy students, specialists from various organisations and institutions of the Republic, English language teachers and learners of Legal English participated in the event.
Jahongir Esanov, a specialist in the field of international law, an IELTS 9.0 scorer and holder of a CELTA certificate, was invited as a special guest and speaker for the master class.
During the session, issues related to the effective use of English in the legal field, the correct use of legal terminology, the development of professional communication skills, and the importance of English in the international legal environment were considered.
