The Academy conducted professional development courses for representatives of the “mahalla seven” in Surkhandarya region

On 7–11 September, 260 representatives of the “mahalla seven” from mahallas in Surkhandarya region assigned to the Academy of Law Enforcement of the Republic of Uzbekistan and classified as “red” based on the results of the first eight months of 2026 participated in the training sessions. During the sessions, they enhanced their knowledge and practical skills related to the early prevention of crime.

The professional development courses were organized on the basis of Resolution No. PQ–1 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 5 January 2026 “On joint measures aimed at introducing an integrated targeted work system to create a safe environment in the mahallas of the Republic” and Resolution No. PQ–2 “On organizational measures to further increase the effectiveness of early crime prevention in the mahallas of the Republic in 2026”.

Within the framework of the training programme, issues related to the practical application of scientific recommendations, conflictology and tactics for resolving disputes, stress management, ensuring psychological resilience in non-standard situations, compliance with cyber hygiene rules, protection against cyber threats, cyberbullying and domestic violence, as well as preventive mechanisms in combating corruption and a culture of integrity were covered based on a scientific and practical approach.

The participants were also informed about the procedure for using the manual entitled “Studies Conducted in the Mahallas of Surkhandarya Region and Developed Scientific Recommendations”, developed by the Academy.
