On 18 September 2026, the official presentation of the “Criminology” (General Part) textbook was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The textbook was prepared in co-authorship by the professors and teachers of the Academy’s Department of Criminal Law and Criminology and was recommended by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a textbook for students of the Jurisprudence and Investigative Activities educational programmes. This publication was printed by the “Adolat” National Legal Information Centre.

The presentation was attended by specialists in the field, professors and teachers, as well as students. During the event, opinions were expressed regarding the content and essence of the publication, as well as its scientific and educational-methodological significance.

As noted, the textbook was prepared on the basis of a systematic analysis of sources of criminological significance and statistical data. It covers the main institutions of the General Part of the science of criminology, with the topics presented in a logical sequence, in a fluent and comprehensible manner.

The new textbook will contribute to strengthening the criminological knowledge of future legal professionals, developing skills to scientifically analyse the causes and conditions of crime, and providing the legal education process with modern educational literature.
