The Law Enforcement Academy organized a seminar at the Ministry of Defence on the topic “History of Corruption, New Requirements in Legislation and Integrity in Military Service”.

The event, held in a hybrid format, was attended by the Deputy Minister of Defence for Compliance and Internal Anti-Corruption Control, as well as military personnel from all military units and structures of the ministry across the republic.

At the event, a staff member of the Academy’s Scientific and Educational Centre for Combating Corruption delivered a presentation, providing participants with information on the legal substance of corruption, corruption-related offences, and new requirements in legislation.

The participants were also introduced to the educational opportunities of the electronic platform “Virtual Academy for Combating Corruption”, and the importance of regularly improving legal knowledge, applying it in daily service activities, and strengthening a culture of integrity through the personal example of leaders was emphasized.
