Representatives of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) responsible for implementing projects in Central Asia on combating corruption, security sector governance and reform visited the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the guests were presented with the Academy’s main areas of activity and the results of joint projects.
The guests were provided with detailed information about the Academy’s organizational structure, as well as the system for training, retraining and professional development of employees of prosecution and investigative bodies.
The OSCE representatives visited specialized training rooms and research laboratories. They were presented with the activities of the Legal Clinic, Situation Centre, digital forensics laboratories and Information Resource Centre, as well as the capabilities of the e-learning system and the Virtual Academy for Combating Corruption.
As part of the visit programme, the guests also familiarized themselves with the practical results of cooperation – the infrastructure and educational resources created at the Academy jointly with the OSCE.
