A meeting was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Law Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The parties discussed prospects for developing bilateral cooperation. In particular, they considered the implementation of joint educational programmes, the organisation of summer schools, and the joint holding of regional law-related competitions and other academic and research events.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to consistently develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest and continue dialogue on implementing joint projects in the future.

The meeting was organised as part of a regional training held at the Academy in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
