A delegation from the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Law Enforcement Academy, currently on a working visit to the United Kingdom aimed at exchanging experience in counter-terrorism, met with representatives of the North West regional division of the Crown Prosecution Service for England and Wales (CPS North West) in Manchester.

The meeting addressed the investigation of terrorism-related criminal cases, the protection of victims’ rights and legitimate interests, and the practice of conducting prosecutions in court.

Representatives of CPS North West shared their experience in organising work in these areas. The participants also exchanged views on other pressing issues related to counter-terrorism and answered questions from those present.
