Academy students discussed issues of ensuring the rule of law and the inevitability of punishment

A roundtable discussion on the topic “The Rule of Law Prevails – Punishment Is Inevitable” was held for students of the Faculty of Undergraduate Education at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In their presentations, experienced faculty members from the Academy and the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Professional Development Institute addressed the protection of human rights, the lawful and fair resolution of each case, and ensuring the inevitability of punishment.

The discussion placed particular emphasis on the role of investigative and prosecutorial activities, digital forensics, and legal awareness in ensuring the inevitability of punishment.

At the conclusion of the roundtable, it was emphasised that sound knowledge, lawful evidence, and a responsible approach are essential to upholding the rule of law and ensuring the inevitability of punishment. It was noted that remembering that a human life lies behind every case is an important professional standard for a legal practitioner.

Students were given recommendations on linking theoretical knowledge with practical issues and adhering to the values of the legal profession in their future careers.
