Representatives of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the V Ludovika International Law Enforcement Research Symposium (LILERS), held in Budapest, and delivered presentations on personnel training in the field of law enforcement.
The presentations examined the role of clinical education in integrating theory and practice and developing learners’ professional competencies, as well as human rights-based approaches to personnel training. The presentation on clinical education highlighted the Academy’s experience in this area.
The symposium was organised by the Faculty of Law Enforcement of the Ludovika University of Public Service, with the support of the Ministry of Interior of Hungary. It brought together heads of higher education institutions specialising in law enforcement training, scholars, and practitioners from various countries.
Five parallel sessions addressed innovative educational approaches, the integration of artificial intelligence into the learning process, the practical application of research findings, and international cooperation. Participation in the symposium will contribute to expanding the Academy’s academic ties with European educational institutions, introducing advanced practices into the educational process, and developing faculty exchange programmes.
