A seminar on anti-corruption for young employees in the banking sector

The Academy, in cooperation with the National bank for foreign economic Activity, organized a training seminar on anti-corruption for young bank employees.

The seminar was held in a hybrid format and brought together more than one thousand newly hired young specialists from the central office and all regional branches of the National bank.

At the event, the Head of the Academy’s Scientific and educational anti-corruption center, Kh. Tursunbekov, delivered a report in which he thoroughly explained the essence and content of the speech delivered by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the extended meeting of the National anti-corruption council on March 5 of this year. He clarified the priority tasks and objectives set by the Head of state in the field of anti-corruption, the main aspects of the national anti-corruption policy, as well as issues related to combating corruption in the banking system and preventing conflicts of interest.

The training seminar will help raise awareness among young employees who have recently started working within the National bank system about anti-corruption measures and will contribute to fostering resilience to corruption among them.
